One-Ingredient Banana Ice Cream (^ɷ^)

Banana Ice Cream

While watching YouTube videos, I came across this easy healthy Banana Ice Cream.

All you need are bananas =) (unless you’re like me and you also want a sweet sauce)

5 ripe bananas

Very important: use ripe bananas if you want it to be sweeter. I used less ripe ones and it was less sweet (but still very yummy).

What to do? Freeze cut bananas overnight.

On the next day, let them at room temperature for 5-10min and then blend the frozen banana pieces.

First, it will look crumbly, then gooey and finally, the magic happens, you’ll have a creamy, soft-serve ice cream texture.

Then you can play around with it. You can add another fruit into and blend it again, serve it with chocolate sauce (my case =))

Chocolate Sauce:

100g Dark chocolate

150g Heavy cream

1 tbsp. of butter

Warm the heavy cream in low heat and, before boiling, add to a bowl with cut chocolate and slowly melt and mix the chocolate sauce. Add a pinch of salt and a little of butter (you can remove this step, basically gives more shine to the sauce).

Little tip: you can roast almonds just by using a hot fry pan.
